How do you keep your wardrobe from bursting?
If you find yourself always overlooking a piece of clothing and have not worn it within a certain amount of time, you most likely will never wear it EVER, and it’s just gonna be taking up precious wardrobe space.
What I feel is more important is not how long it has been since I last worn it,
but why haven’t I worn it?
but why haven’t I worn it?
Questions I ask myself-
Is it the right colour for my skintone?
Is it too long or too short or ends at an unflattering length?
Does it make me look frumpy, bigger-sized, flabby?
Is it worn out, faded, stained?
Understanding why I’m not wearing something helps me make better choices when I go shopping next!
I like clothing styles that will always make me feel good about myself.
So I do not worry so much about having variety.
As I grow older I am more confident and not as worried about what other people think.
I have also developed a sense of my personal style (cute tops and skinny jeans or shorts)
Over the last few years I’ve let my clothing collection dwindle smaller naturally by buying less to replace what has worn out.
My current wardrobe (pictured below) is the size that most people take on a 10 day vacation!
